After released a few singles during the 60s, bennie conn recorded a nice Northern soul album in the vein of his previous single and mainly in the pure RnB style of sam cooke or Willie Hightower.This album was released on the young label groove time which had also signed general caine / general kane.
Great players were on this album such as "Reginald Burke" who played with terry callier & earth, wind and fire, michael wycoff, the guitarist cash mccall and "Art Stewart" who had produced i want you of marvin gaye, as well.
