A lost funky soul LP by Starfire, billed here as "The Baddest Five Stars in the Galaxy", and hailing from Richmond, VA! This is a silver-covered repressing of the band's second album -- done on the obscure Dynamic Artists label in Virginia -- and it's a great collection of the group's early work, cut back at a time when they were soaring along on a strong Earth Wind & Fire vibe -- mixing up funk and soulful ballads nicely! There's some good spacey production touches that further enforce the "star" quality of their name -- pushing things slightly into the stratosphere, in a way that sets them apart. Titles include the catchy midtempo modern number "Make The Most Of It", plus "I Want To Sing This Song For You", "Get Up Everybody", "Dancing & Singing", and "Super Sensuous Women".
